Heavenly Melody Headlines Micah Presbyterian Church’s 30th anniversary Celebration

2024 was the 30th anniversary of Micah Presbyterian Church in Pingtung. To celebrate this milestone, the church invited Heavenly Melody to headline a special anniversary celebration.

Pastor Chiang Lung-huang shared that the mission of Micah Church is “to let people see the Lord”, and the church was founded by choir members, making music an integral part of its identity from the very beginning. The church hopes to pass this legacy of music as an effective tool to share the Gospel from one generation to the next. Thus, the 30th anniversary celebration was centered around music and testimonies. Pastor Chiang explained that Heavenly Melody is Taiwan’s first Christian music group, and he grew up listening to their songs. He deeply admires Heavenly Melody’s unwavering commitment to share God’s love through music, and the group’s dedication is a powerful inspiration for the church to never forget its original purpose to let more people see the Lord. His church was thrilled when Heavenly Melody agreed to headline the church’s celebration.

During the celebration service, many churches and denominations came together to worship and praise God together. It was a precious time as the congregation worshiped with one heart and responded enthusiastically to Heavenly Melody’s songs and testimonies.
